Why are jigsaw puzzles so engaging? We look at a pretty picture, rich in details and know that we will persist looking at all the different shapes, textures, shadows and colors in order to put over 1,000 different irregularly cut shapes together to make a whole. Watch as different people use different strategies to build the puzzle. Many start with solidifying the out edge and then build in through the middle. Others find a cool part of the picture and put that together, then connect cool parts together. At then end, every one achieves the same satisfaction and success.
